Biography

GARCIA AT A GLANCE:

  • A second-year defensive lineman who appeared in two games with Denver in 2022, totaling one solo tackle.
  • Recorded 190 tackles (76 solo), 6.5 sacks (58 yds.), 14.5 TFLs, four passes defensed, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery during his five collegiate seasons at Rice University (2017-21).
  • Earned all-conference honors after notching career-best marks in tackles (67), sacks (5), sack yards (44) and TFLs (47) in 2021.
  • Posted the second-most tackles (28) along with two QB hurries in 2020.
  • Prepped at Stevens High School in San Antonio, where he was named second-team All-San Antonio as a senior after making 100 tackles along with six sacks and eight QB hurries.
  • Signed by the L.A. Rams as a college free agent on May 4, 2022.
  • Signed by the Broncos off the L.A. Rams practice squad on Dec. 7, 2022.
