SUTTON AT A GLANCE:

  • A wide receiver who started 37-of-39 games played at Southern Methodist University, catching 195 passes for 3,220 yards (16.5 avg.) with 31 touchdowns. 
  • Ended his collegiate career ranked second in school history in touchdowns (31), third in receiving yards (3,220) and sixth in receptions (195). 
  • Named to the Associated Press’ All-American Second Team and to the All-American Athletic Conference’s Tirst Team as a redshirt junior in 2017, finishing with 68 catches for 1,085 yards (16.0 avg.) with 12 touchdowns. 
  • Chosen as a first-team All-AAC pick as a redshirt sophomore after leading the team with 76 catches for 1,246 yards (16.4 avg.) with 10 touchdowns. 
  • Set the SMU freshman record for receiving yards (862) while catching 49 passes (17.6 avg.) with nine touchdowns. 
  • Played three games for SMU’s basketball team between his redshirt freshman and sophomore seasons and was coached by Basketball Hall of Famer Larry Brown. 
  • Attended Brenham (Texas) High School, where he was named all-district as a tight end and safety as a high school senior. 
  • Selected by the Broncos in the second round (40th overall) of the 2018 NFL Draft.
