Denver Broncos Foundation joins Centura Health and Food Bank of the Rockies for Totes of Hope initiative
The Denver Broncos Foundation joined Centura Health and Food Bank of the Rockies on Thursday to put together bags of food supplies called Totes of Hope for local elementary school children.

On Thursday, Centura Health and Food Bank of the Rockies joined Steve Atwater, Denver Broncos Cheerleaders, Miles the Mascot and volunteers to package Totes of Hope — bags of food supplies — for local elementary school children.

This week, the Denver Broncos Foundation is hosting a three-day Scholastic Book Fair at Montview Elementary School. The school library will receive 300 brand-new books from the fair, and each student will have the opportunity to take home three books of their choice, all underwritten by the Foundation.

The Denver Broncos and RCX Sports, the official operating partner of NFL FLAG, hosted an NFL FLAG Regional Tournament at Aurora Sports Park on Saturday, which marked the third time Colorado has served as a host site for a regional tournament. The pool included 60 total teams, with 53 representing the state of Colorado. The tournament features competitive and recreation divisions for boys and girls broken down to 8U through 17U age groups. This year's tournament will feature 14 girls only teams at various age divisions, the most since regional tournament play began in Colorado. Nine of the 14 girls teams who will play in the 17U division are high school programs who competed in Colorado's inaugural girls high school flag season last fall, launched by the Denver Broncos Foundation.

On Saturday, the Broncos hosted the Rocky Mountain Region's largest high school 7-on-7 and Linemen Challenge tournaments at Centura Health Training Center. Presented by Children's Hospital Colorado, Delta Dental and with support from NIKE and Gatorade, the tournaments featured nearly 35% of the schools in the state of Colorado that play high school football.

On Wednesday, the Denver Broncos Foundation and Comcast in Colorado provided tech donations to Boys & Girls Clubs of Pueblo County. Former Broncos Nick Ferguson and Ebenezer Ekuban were on hand for the presentation, along with Miles the Mascot and Denver Broncos Cheerleaders, as $20,000 was donated to the organization for purchasing laptops, tablets, 3D printers and technological resources.
