EA Sports began to reveal its player ratings on Wednesday, and Von Miller was among seven players who were rated 99 overall.

Patriots QB Tom Brady, Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski, Packers QB Aaron Rodgers, Panthers LB Luke Kuechly, Steelers WR Antonio Brown and Rams DE Aaron Donald also earned the honor.

At his 2018 Pass Rush Summit at Big Cedar Lodge, Miller reacted to being named one of the game's best players for the second year in a row.

"Madden? We all play Madden," Miller said "That's going down forever. I'm a 99 on 'Madden 2019.' That's going down forever right there. That's kind of like a mini Hall of Fame type deal. 'Madden 2019' is not going anywhere. As long as you have Madden 2019, I'm a 99 in that game."

From the Big Cedar Lodge in Missouri, Von Miller, Shaquil Barrett and some of their NFL peers shared pass-rushing tips and received instruction from Pro Football Hall of Famers Warren Sapp and Bruce Smith, among other pass-rushing coaches.

Miller also received recognition Monday when NFL Network revealed his peers had voted him as the ninth-best player in the NFL.

"It doesn't get old," Miller said. "I can't sit here and say being No. 9 in the league, 'Ooh, it's crazy.' But it's a dope feeling. It's a dope feeling to have. My peers voted on that. It's not something where a reporter liked me and the way I played in the Cincinnati game or nothing like that. It's the guys that you go against week in and week out that vote on that list, and I came up No. 9 on that list. Top 10 for the second year in a row.

"Any peer-voted award or recognition is dope for me."
