The Pro Bowl Push: Why Phillip Lindsay deserves a second Pro Bowl selection

With voting for the 2020 Pro Bowl underway, it's our job to make sure Broncos fans are as well informed as possible before they do their civic NFL duty. So, to provide valuable perspective for the outstanding seasons some of the Broncos' top players are putting forward this year, we asked their teammates why they should make the Pro Bowl.

We started by asking members of the Broncos' locker room why Phillip Lindsay deserved to make his second Pro Bowl:

"All the things he was doing last year you see show up on tape again. You see improvement, you see a guy that's still undersized [and] still got the same chip on his shoulder, still making the same people miss and doing different things. He's a special runner." – OLB Bradley Chubb

"He's still on pace to get 1,000 [rushing yards]. He's running with nine people in the box, so I think he's doing a great job of still getting the yardage and finding a way to make plays for us with a crowded line." – CB Chris Harris Jr.

"I just think that the way that he plays, being undrafted last year — you guys saw it firsthand — being on the team with him, seeing the type of energy he brings to the team, maybe energy that other teams don't notice, him around the locker room, his leadership. Those are all the qualities people don't see, but we do in the locker room. When he steps onto the field, he's a playmaker. You look back at our season and the big plays we've had, I think you can narrow it down to Courtland Sutton and Phillip Lindsay, in a nutshell. I think Phil just is a playmaker out there on the field, [and he's] more than worthy of going to the Pro Bowl." – G Dalton Risner

"He's a well-rounded back. You'd look at him and think, like, 'Aw, he's just fast.' But he's strong — fast, strong and powerful. [I've] seen him stiff-arm linebackers, shake DBs — well-rounded. He's a complete back." — ILB Alexander Johnson
