ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Two of the Broncos' top edge rushers would not have practiced on Thursday, according to the team's estimated injury report.

Outside linebackers Bradley Chubb (shoulder/illness) and Jonathon Cooper (illness) were listed as non-participants on the estimated injury report. Denver did not practice on Thursday due to COVID precautions.

Chubb was previously listed as a limited participant with a shoulder injury, but the team added the illness designation on Thursday. Cooper was added to the report for the first time.

Outside linebacker Stephen Weatherly, who did not practice Wednesday with an illness, was added to the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Thursday.

Quarterback Teddy Bridgewater (concussion), cornerback Ronald Darby (shoulder) and inside linebacker Kenny Young (concussion) were listed as non-participants for the second consecutive day.

Safety Kareem Jackson, who did not practice Wednesday with back and shoulder injuries, would have been a limited participant, according to the estimation.

Running backs Melvin Gordon III (thumb/hip) and Javonte Williams (knee) and defensive linemen Shelby Harris (ankle), Dre'Mont Jones (foot) and Shamar Stephen (knee) were also estimated as limited participants.

The team estimated that quarterback Drew Lock (ankle) would have improved to a full participant.
