ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Running back Melvin Gordon will likely play in Sunday's matchup with the Detroit Lions, Head Coach Vic Fangio said Friday.

"I believe so," Fangio said when asked whether Gordon would return to the field.

Gordon missed Denver's Week 13 game with a hip injury, but he returned to practice this week.

Outside linebacker Bradley Chubb (shoulder/ankle) and defensive end Shelby Harris (ankle) are also listed as questionable. Gordon, Chubb and Harris were all limited participants on Friday.

Running back Mike Boone and safety P.J. Locke have been placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list. Neither player practiced on Friday, and neither player has a game status designation.

Boone was not feeling well and requested a test, Fangio said.

Fangio was not yet sure if there would be any close contacts stemming from Boone and Locke being placed in the protocols.
