ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Broncos have added a new face to their tight end room.
On Tuesday, the team announced it has signed rookie Caden Prieskorn to the active roster. In a corresponding move, the Broncos designated tight end Cole Fotheringham as waived/injured.
Prieskorn spent his collegiate tenure with Memphis (2019-22) and Mississippi (2023-24), appearing in 52 total games. He caught 112 passes for 1,521 yards (averaging 13.7 yards per reception) and 14 touchdowns during his career. In 2022, his final season at Memphis, Prieskorn led the Tigers in receptions and receiving touchdowns. After transferring to Mississippi, he then recorded 57 receptions for 850 and seven touchdowns across two seasons.
The 6-foot-5, 255-pound tight end entered the league in May as a college free agent for the Lions. He joins Evan Engram, Adam Trautman, Nate Adkins, Lucas Krull and rookie Caleb Lohner on the roster at the tight end position.
