Broncos sign T Jake Rodgers to active roster from practice squad, place RB LeVante Bellamy on IR

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Broncos have signed tackle Jake Rodgers to the active roster from their practice squad and placed running back LeVante Bellamy on injured reserve, the team announced Saturday.

Rodgers appeared in 14 games for the Broncos in 2019 and started at right tackle in the final game of the year.

He has spent the 2020 season on the team's practice squad, but he was elevated to the team's game-day roster in Week 4.

Rodgers did not take an offensive snap against the Jets but played seven snaps on special teams.

Bellamy, an undrafted player from Western Michigan, suffered a knee injury during Thursday's practice. Head Coach Vic Fangio said Friday that Bellamy's status for Monday's game would be in doubt.

Under the NFL's new IR rules, Bellamy will not be eligible to return for three weeks.
