ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — A veteran defender has joined the Broncos' roster.

Denver signed safety Taylor Rapp, the team announced Thursday.

The Broncos designated inside linebacker Levelle Bailey as waived/injured in a corresponding move.

Rapp, a 2019 second-round pick, has started 72 games in his NFL career, recording 12 interceptions, 31 passes defensed, two forced fumbles, four fumble recoveries, 488 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, six quarterback hits, two sacks and a pick six.

Following four seasons with the Rams to begin his career, Rapp spent the last three seasons with the Bills. He started each of the first six games of the 2025 season before being placed on injured reserve. He started 14 games for Buffalo in 2024, playing nearly 90 percent of the team's defensive snaps across those games.

Rapp joins a Broncos safety group that includes Talanoa Hufanga, Brandon Jones, Devon Key, JL Skinner, Tycen Anderson, Miles Scott and Parker Robertson.

Bailey suffered his injury in the Broncos' preseason opener against the Falcons.
