Broncos sign RB Damarea Crockett to practice squad

Transaction

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Broncos have added another Missouri Tiger to their offensive arsenal.

Denver signed running back Damarea Crockett to their practice squad on Thursday, the team announced.

Crockett, who spent training camp with the Green Bay Packers in 2020, played alongside Drew Lock and Albert Okwuegbunam during his time in Columbia. Crockett tallied 2,252 rushing yards and 19 rushing touchdowns during his three seasons with the Tigers. He also added 21 receptions for 137 yards and two touchdowns.

Crockett then went undrafted following the 2019 season and initially landed with the Houston Texans. He spent time with the Raiders' and Packers' practice squads last season, but he has yet to appear in a regular-season game.
