Broncos promote Reed Burckhardt to assistant general manager; announce 2025 scouting department updates

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Denver Broncos promoted Reed Burckhardt to assistant general manager and made several updates to their scouting department, General Manager George Paton announced Friday.

New additions to the scouting department include Co-Director of Player Personnel Cam Williams, who spent the previous nine years with the New England Patriots and was part of two Super Bowl victories. Jordon Dizon also returns to the Broncos as director of pro personnel after spending the last three seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles and contributing to their Super Bowl LIX win in 2024.

Reed Burckhardt, who enters his fourth season with the Broncos, was promoted to assistant general manager after spending the previous three seasons as Denver's director of player personnel. Before his time with the Broncos, he spent 13 seasons with the Minnesota Vikings as the director of pro scouting, assistant director of pro scouting, pro scout, area scout, BLESTO scout, personnel department assistant and operations intern.

A.J. Durso, who enters his 13th season with the Broncos, was promoted to co-director of player personnel after spending the last nine seasons as the team's director of pro personnel. Entering his 21st season in the NFL, Durso previously spent three seasons with Cleveland as a pro scout and five years with the football operations department for Seattle.

Cam Williams joins the Broncos as co-director of player personnel after spending the last nine seasons with New England, where he was part of two Super Bowl victories (2016 and 2018). With the Patriots, Williams most recently served as director of college scouting (2022-24) after holding titles of national scout (2021), southeast area scout (2019-20), southwest area scout (2018) and scouting assistant (2016-17).

Jordon Dizon re-joins the Broncos after spending the previous three seasons as a national scout for the Philadelphia Eagles and contributing to the team's Super Bowl LIX victory in 2024. Entering his 11th overall season in the NFL, the former University of Colorado standout linebacker previously served as the Broncos' assistant director of pro personnel and a pro scout from 2015-21.

Bryan Chesin was promoted to director of college scouting after spending the previous three seasons as the Broncos' midwest national scout. In his 12th season overall with the club, Chesin has also served as midwest area scout, player personnel assistant and video/operations assistant.

Ish Seisay was promoted to midwest area/international scout and enters his fifth overall season with the Broncos. Having spent the last two years as the Broncos' pro/college scout, Seisay also worked as a personnel intern during his first two seasons in Denver.

Nick Schiralli, who spent the previous four seasons as the Broncos' assistant director of college scouting, was promoted to senior personnel executive. Entering his 18th season with the Broncos, Schiralli has also held the roles of eastern regional scout and atlantic area scout.

Dave Bratten, who enters his 27th season with the Broncos, was promoted to assistant director of college scouting. Previously serving as the west area scout for the Broncos, Bratten initially joined the franchise in 1997 as a media relations intern.

Scott DiStefano, who is the longest-tenured member of the Broncos' personnel department, was named senior college scout and enters his 45th season with the club. One of the longest-tenured football operations executives in the NFL, DiStefano began his scouting career with the Broncos in 1982.

Deon Randall, who spent the previous three seasons as a southwest area scout for the Broncos, was promoted to national scout. Entering his ninth overall season with the Broncos, Randall has also spent time as the club's northeast area scout, pro/college scout, scouting assistant and personnel intern.

Roya Burton was promoted to player personnel coordinator/scout after spending the last two seasons as the Broncos' scouting coordinator. Entering her sixth year with the Broncos, Burton has also spent time as the team's player personnel assistant after joining the club as a social content assistant for two seasons.
