ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Broncos have placed guard Austin Schlottmann on the Reserve/COVID-19 list, the team announced Friday.

The list is intended for vaccinated players who have tested positive for the virus or for unvaccinated players who have either tested positive or have been deemed a close contact to an infected individual.

Vaccinated individuals may rejoin the active roster after returning two negative tests separated by 24 hours, while an unvaccinated player who has tested positive must quarantine for 10 days. An individual deemed a close contact must quarantine for five days and return negative tests each day in order to return.

Schlottmann joins quarterback Drew Lock, cornerback Michael Ojemudia and linebacker Justin Strnad on the Broncos' Reserve/COVID-19 list.

The TCU product played nine offensive snaps against the Cowboys — his first of the season — and was signed from the practice squad to the active roster on Nov. 9.
