ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Broncos have added two members of their roster to the Reserve/COVID-19 list, the team announced Monday.

Defensive lineman Mike Purcell and outside linebacker Andre Mintze join center Lloyd Cushenberry III on the list. Cushenberry missed Sunday's game after being placed on the list on Dec. 23.

Mintze has been on injured reserve since Oct. 18 but was designated for return on Dec. 22 and practiced with the team ahead of its Week 16 game against Las Vegas.

The Broncos may not disclose whether a player tested positive or was a close contact to a positive individual, but under current NFL COVID-19 protocols, vaccinated players do not need to be quarantined as a close contact.

Vaccinated individuals who test positive may return after producing one negative test under current protocols, while unvaccinated players who test positive are out at least 10 days. Individuals who are unable to provide the required negative tests to test out of quarantine, regardless of vaccination status, are able to return to a club facility after progressing through a 10-day quarantine period.

Denver also placed defensive end Jonathan Harris on the Practice Squad/COVID-19 list and released center Javon Patterson from the practice squad.
