Broncos Injury Report: Derek Wolfe among players still sidelined

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. --Matt Paradis received a rest day typical of the last two months, while several other Broncos joined him in sitting out Thursday's practice.

Safety T.J. Ward and tight ends A.J. Derby and Virgil Green continued to be sidelined as they progress through the league-mandated post-concussion protocol. Ward was on the field in sweats, taking mental repetitions as his teammates went through their work.

Inside linebacker Brandon Marshall and defensive end Derek Wolfe also did not practice. Marshall has not seen any on-field work since suffering a hamstring injury Dec. 4 in Jacksonville.

Wolfe left last Sunday's game with a neck injury, but after Wednesday's work, Head Coach Gary Kubiak expressed optimism that Wolfe could play in Kansas City this week.

"Derek is doing well," Kubiak said Wednesday. "I think he has a good chance to get there. We'll just stay positive and hopefully he can get there."
