The Broncos (5-2) are set to welcome the Cowboys (3-3-1) in one of the most compelling matchups yet this season, as Denver's top-five defense aims to slow the Cowboys' potent offense.

The Utah product has notched 11 tackles, one sack, two quarterback hits, three tackles for loss, a forced fumble and a pass defensed in five games this year.

"It's a challenge for us, but I'm excited about it," Defensive Coordinator Vance Joseph said Thursday. "If you want to be the best, you've got to beat the best. Hopefully, we put our best foot forward on Sunday."

Tackle Mike McGlinchey (foot/ankle) was listed as a full participant for the second consecutive day.

"He should be in," Payton said. "He's going to get in. He needs to get in sooner than later."

"I think this is a veteran team that understands how to get on to the next challenge," Head Coach Sean Payton said Wednesday. "Certainly, this next team is a big challenge. They understand that."

Denver also signed tackle Marques Cox and wide receiver Kyrese Rowan to the practice squad. 

Tackle Mike McGlinchey (foot/ankle) was the only other player listed on the report and was listed as a full participant.

The late Alex Gibbs, a longtime Broncos assistant coach who helped transform Denver's offensive line with an innovative blocking scheme, was also among the 12 individuals to advance in the process.

Denver is 2-0 in the uniform set, as the team earned wins over the Raiders and Chiefs in 2024.
