Broncos elevate ILB Jordan Turner for Week 8 game vs. Cowboys

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Denver has added a young defender to its active roster for Week 8.

The Broncos elevated rookie inside linebacker Jordan Turner from the practice squad to the active roster for Sunday's game against the Cowboys, the team announced.

Turner has yet to appear in a regular-season game, but he recorded 10 tackles, 1.5 sacks, a tackle for loss and four quarterback hits in preseason action.

The 6-foot-1, 231-pound Michigan State product recorded 66 tackles, 10.5 tackles for loss, three sacks, two interceptions and a pass defensed during his final collegiate season.

The Broncos face the Cowboys on Sunday at 2:25 p.m. MT on CBS.
