Can a run play be blocked perfectly?

If there was anything wrong with the execution on Phillip Lindsay's 27-yard touchdown run to cap the Broncos' 27-17 win over the Detroit Lions on Sunday, we couldn't find it.

"Yeah, I'm very encouraged by what Drew has done these four games," Fangio said. "Part of it is, too, because of the negative. We played a tough game in a tough environment (at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City) a week ago against a great team and things didn't go well, but I liked the way he handled it."

Sunday's 27-17 victory over the Detroit Lions moved the Broncos to 6-9. The team has gone 3-1 in Lock's first four starts, and the second-round pick has been given a rather complete look at where his game is now and what he needs to do to improve.

Over the last four weeks with Drew Lock as their quarterback, the Broncos have discovered a renewed hope and, perhaps more importantly, a more balanced identity. A complementary brand of football.
