ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Broncos have added a starting offensive lineman back to their roster ahead of the AFC Championship Game.

Denver activated center Luke Wattenberg from injured reserve to the 53-man roster, the team announced Saturday.

The Broncos placed quarterback Bo Nix on injured reserve in a corresponding move.

Denver also elevated wide receivers Michael Bandy and Elijah Moore from the practice squad to the active roster for Sunday's game against the Patriots.

Wattenberg played every offensive snap across the Broncos' first 15 games of the season before missing the last four weeks due to injury. He was designated for return from practice on Wednesday, and he is now eligible to play against the Patriots.

Bandy has appeared in four games for the Broncos this season, catching four passes for 50 yards and a touchdown. Moore has yet to appear in a game since signing with the Broncos' practice squad in December, but he has caught 209 passes for 2,274 yards and nine touchdowns in his career.

Nix suffered a season-ending ankle injury in the Broncos' Divisional Round win over the Bills.

The Broncos will host the Patriots in the AFC Championship Game on Sunday at 1 p.m. MT on CBS.
