ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Denver has added a dynamic playmaker to its offense.

The Broncos have acquired wide receiver Jaylen Waddle and a 2026 fourth-round pick (No. 111) from the Miami Dolphins in exchange for a first-round pick (No. 30), a third-round pick (No. 94) and a fourth-round pick (No. 130) in the 2026 NFL Draft, the team announced Wednesday.

The 2021 sixth-overall pick has recorded three 1,000-yard seasons in his first five years in the league, including a career-high 1,356 yards and eight touchdowns in 2022. Waddle is one of 16 players in the league to record at least three 1,000-yard seasons since 2021.

Waddle has recorded at least 58 catches and 744 yards in each of his five NFL seasons, and he caught 64 passes for 910 yards and six touchdowns in 2025.

In his career, Waddle's average 17-game output is 81 catches for 1,098 yards and six touchdowns. The 27-year-old player has recorded 26 career receiving touchdowns.

A 2021 All-Rookie Team selection, Waddle led the NFL in yards per reception in 2022 with 18.1 yards per catch. Since 2022, his 15.0 yards per reception are the third-most in the NFL.

Since entering the league, he ranks fourth in receiving yards, sixth in receptions and seventh in receiving touchdowns among AFC receivers — and he has the fifth-most 100-yard games among that group.

The 5-foot-10, 185-pound player starred collegiately at Alabama, where he played and roomed with Broncos All-Pro cornerback Pat Surtain II. Waddle was selected just three spots ahead of Surtain in the 2021 NFL Draft.

Denver's wide receiver room now includes Waddle, Courtland Sutton, Troy Franklin, Marvin Mims Jr., Pat Bryant, Lil'Jordan Humphrey and Michael Bandy.
