Biography

BROCK AT A GLANCE:

  • A ninth-year cornerback who appeared in 91 career regular-season games (40 starts) and 10 postseason contests (3 starts) during his first eight NFL seasons with San Francisco (2010-16) and Minnesota (2017).
  • Recorded 168 tackles (147 solo), 11 interceptions (165 yds.), 44 passes defensed and two forced fumbles in his career.
  • Played 13 total games (11 regular season, 2 postseason) during the 2017 season with Minnesota after being acquired in a trade with Seattle on Sept. 2, 2017. 
  • Opened 40-of-80 games played for the 49ers from 2010-16, including 31 starts for the team from 2015-16.
  • Registered three different seasons (2013, ‘15-16) with more than 10 passes defensed while in San Francisco, posting a career-high five interceptions (82 yds.) in 2013.
  • Became the first player from Belhaven College (Miss.) to play in the NFL after also spending time at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College and the University of Minnesota. 
  • Joined the Broncos as an unrestricted free agent (Minnesota) on March 14, 2018.
  • Entered the NFL with San Francisco as a college free agent on April 26, 2010.
