FREEMAN AT A GLANCE:

  • A running back who started 45-of-51 games played during his four seasons at the University of Oregon, rushing 947 times for 5,621 yards (5.9 avg.) with 60 touchdowns in addition to catching 79 passes for 814 yards (16.0 avg.) with four scores.
  • Finished his career as the school’s all-time leader in rushing yards (5,621), all-purpose yards (6,435), rushing touchdowns (60), total touchdowns (64), points scored (60), 100-yard games (31) and carries (947). 
  • Ended his career as the Pacific-12 Conference’s all-time leader in rushing yards (5,621 yds.) —sixth in NCAA history—and total touchdowns (64). 
  • Selected All-Pac-12 Conference in all four seasons at Oregon, earning first team honors as a sophomore (2015), second team honors as a freshman (2014) and senior (2017), and honorable mention as a junior (2016). 
  • Named a Maxwell Award (National Player of the Year) and Doak Walker Award (Nation’s Top RB) semifinalist after rushing 244 times for 1,475 yards (6.0 avg.) with 16 scores as a senior.
  • Broke Oregon’s single-season rushing record (283-1,836 yds., 17 TD) and rushed for more than 100 yards in 11 of 13 games as a sophomore. 
  • Chosen as the Pac-12 Freshman Offensive Player of the Year after carrying 252 times for 1,365 yards (5.4 avg.) with 18 touchdowns during his initial collegiate campaign in 2014. 
  • Accumulated 7,606 yards rushing and 111 touchdowns while prepping at Imperial (Calif.) H.S. 
  • Selected by the Broncos in the third round (71st overall) of the 2018 NFL Draft.
