2022: Sanders was a unanimous All-America selection at Arkansas and became the first Arkansas linebacker to earn first-team All-America honors from the Associated Press since 1964... Was also named first-team All-SEC by the AP and league's coaches... Ranked second in the conference and 15th in the nation with 9.5 sacks (45 yds.) along with 103 tackles (40 solo), 13.5 tackles for loss, one interception (13 yds.), six passes defensed, three forced fumbles and one fumble recovery.
2021: Sanders played in 12 games (3 starts) at Alabama, totaling 24 tackles (12 solo), 2.5 tackles for loss, one sack (7 yds.) and two passes defensed... Made his first career start with the Crimson Tide vs. Mercer (9/11), breaking up two passes and made two tackles... Tallied his first career sack along with two tackles vs. New Mexico State (11/13)... Helped Alabama win the SEC Championship vs. Georgia (12/4) to reach the national championship game.
2020: Sanders made nine tackles (4 solo) and saw time on special teams in 12 games as a freshman with Alabama... Made his collegiate debut at Missouri (9/26), recording one unassisted tackle... Earned special teams player of the week honors by Alabama's coaching staff for his play at Tennessee (10/24) and at Arkansas (12/12).
HIGH SCHOOL: Sanders attended Ryan High School in Denton, Texas, where he was selected to the Under Armour All-America Game... Was also named a 2019 Landry Player of the Year finalist, which goes to the top high school football player in North Texas... Named the 2018 SportsDayHS Utility Player of the Year after making 119 tackles, including 10 tackles for loss, eight sacks and three interceptions, two of which were returned for scores.
