SANDERS AT A GLANCE

  • An inside linebacker who appeared in 36 career games (15 starts) over three seasons at the University of Alabama (2020-21) and the University of Arkansas (2022).
  • Totaled 136 tackles (56 solo), 10.5 sacks (52 yds.), one interception (13 yds.), eight passes defensed, three forced fumbles and one fumble recovery during his career.
  • Was second in the SEC and 15th in the country in sacks (9.5) in 2022 while also making 103 tackles (40 solo), 13.5 tackles for loss, one interception (13 yds.), six passes defensed, three forced fumbles and one fumble recovery.
  • Became the first Arkansas linebacker to earn first-team All-America honors from the Associated Press since 1964.
  • Played in 12 games (3 starts) at Alabama in 2021, totaling 24 tackles (12 solo), 2.5 tackles for loss, one sack (7 yds.) and two pass breakups to help the Crimson Tide win the SEC Championship.
  • Made nine tackles (4 solo) and saw time on special teams in 12 games as a freshman with Alabama in 2020.
  • Attended Ryan High School in Denton, Texas, where he was selected to the Under Armour All-America Game and was a 2019 Landry Player of the Year finalist.
