Broncos sign WR Phillip Dorsett, CB Quinton Newsome

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Broncos have added a pair of players following rookie minicamp.

Denver signed veteran wide receiver Phillip Dorsett and college free agent cornerback Quinton Newsome, the team announced Monday.

In a pair of corresponding moves, the Broncos waived punter Nik Constantinou and wide receiver Lincoln Victor. Both players signed with the team as college free agents and participated in rookie minicamp.

Dorsett rejoins the team after being released on Friday. He initially signed with the team's practice squad ahead of the 2023 season and was elevated twice during the year. The 2015 first-round pick has caught 151 career passes for 2,001 yards and 12 touchdowns.

An honorable mention All-Big Ten player in 2022 and 2023, Newsome started 10 games as a senior and recorded 37 tackles, three passes defensed, an interception and a fumble recovery. He wore No. 6 as one of 10 Huskers to earn single-digit numbers as the toughest players on the team.
