The Broncos' preseason home matchup against the Cardinals is designed to highlight the next generation of Broncos Country.

"Put this Broncos D-lineman among the most underrated players in the entire league," Patra wrote. "He's a pocket-collapser. A people mover. A body slammer. A QB tormentor."

"I think this about the running game: It's going to be different," Payton said. "We've immediately upgraded that position. We brought in leadership with J.K. [Dobbins], we drafted [RJ] Harvey early. You're going to see a difference — and hopefully a remarkably different running game."

The Broncos' offense wrapped up training camp with a flourish.

"There will be a few," Payton said. "There's five or six players that are on an eight-play pitch count that we consider ones but maybe [they've had a] lack of reps or for whatever reason.

Head Coach Sean Payton also said tackle Garett Bolles, who exited practice early on Thursday, is "going to be fine." Bolles had an asthma-related issue, according to Payton.

In early 11-on-11 action on Wednesday, Cooper barreled into the Broncos' backfield for a would-be sack.

Taylor, a member of the inaugural 1960 Broncos, was the first player in pro football history to record 100 catches in a season and retired as Denver's career receiving leader.

"He's an extremely instinctive runner," Head Coach Sean Payton said of RJ Harvey.

Nik Bonitto's breakout 2024 campaign has earned him yet another accolade. 

Denver has made a pair of roster moves on the defensive side of the ball.
