ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Broncos have activated guard Austin Schlottmann from the Reserve/COVID-19 list, the team announced Wednesday.
Denver also designated inside linebacker Micah Kiser for return from injured reserve and signed guard Zack Johnson to the practice squad.
The Broncos will receive a temporary roster exemption for Schlottmann, so he will not immediately count against the team's 53-man roster.
Schlottmann had been on the Reserve/COVID-19 list since Friday, Nov. 12. Head Coach Vic Fangio previously announced that Schlottmann was vaccinated and tested positive for the virus.
The Broncos previously placed Kiser on injured reserve following the team's Thursday night game against the Browns. Kiser is eligible to practice with the team, and the Broncos have a 21-day window in which to activate him to the 53-man roster.
Kiser has appeared in five games for the Broncos this year and recorded six tackles.
Johnson, a two-time FCS All-American from North Dakota State, has spent time with the Packers and Cardinals during his brief NFL career. He has not yet appeared in a regular-season game.
