Ron Leary, Adam Gotsis held out of Sunday's practice for precautionary reasons

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Guard Ron Leary and defensive end Adam Gotsis did not participate in Sunday's practice for precautionary reasons, Head Coach Vance Joseph said.

Neither player had yet to miss a practice during training camp, but Gostis did miss Saturday's walkthrough with a sore ankle.

"[Leary] could've gone, but he's a little sore from the week, so we're just being smart with him," Joseph said.

Joseph said Gotsis also could have played if the Broncos had a game Sunday.

"[We're] just being really smart with our guys," Joseph said.

The Broncos have an off day on Monday, so both players will have at least two days to rest before Tuesday's practice.

Other Sunday availability notes:

·     Center Matt Paradis "wasn't feeling good" on Sunday and visited with a trainer, Joseph said.

·     Wide receiver Corey "Philly" Brown worked with trainers Sunday with his helmet on, but he did not wear pads.

·     Tight end Jeff Heuerman and safety Su'a Cravens again missed practice with knee soreness.

·     Cornerback Tramaine Brock remained sidelined with a hamstring injury.
