ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — A pair of Broncos defenders have earned more league-wide recognition.
Outside linebacker Nik Bonitto and cornerback Pat Surtain II were named to the 2025 Sporting News All-Pro team, the outlet announced Thursday.
The Broncos' two selections were tied for the most in the NFL.
Bonitto, a back-to-back Pro Bowler, is a Sporting News All-Pro for the first time in his career. He recorded a career-high 14 sacks and 28 quarterback hits to go with two forced fumbles and 14 tackles for loss. He also had a sack and a pair of forced fumbles in Denver's Divisional Round win over the Bills. Bonitto also earned PFWA honors this year.
Surtain, meanwhile, is a three-time Sporting News All-Pro. He also earned the nod in 2022 and 2024. Surtain also earned Pro Bowl, AP All-Pro and PFWA All-AFC accolades for his 2025 campaign. He recorded double-digit passes defensed for the fifth time in his career and posted the league's third-highest tight-window throw rate, according to NextGen Stats.
The team was voted on by the league's head coaches and coordinators.
