LONDON — A pair of Broncos did not practice Wednesday as the team began to prepare for a Week 6 game against the Jets.
Guard Ben Powers (biceps) and outside linebacker Jonah Elliss (ribs/shoulder) were the lone players to not take part in Denver's Wednesday practice.
"With a starting player … it's never any good," Head Coach Sean Payton said of Powers' injury on Wednesday. "And yet, the next guy's up. We'll get ready to play [that player]."
Running back Tyler Badie (shoulder) and defensive tackles D.J. Jones (shoulder) and Malcolm Roach (calf) were listed as limited participants. Roach was designated for return on Wednesday as he practiced for the first time since suffering an injury ahead of Week 1.
Outside linebacker Nik Bonitto (wrist) and inside linebacker Alex Singleton (thumb) were listed as full participants.
The Broncos will release additional practice statuses on Thursday before releasing game statuses on Friday for Sunday's game.
Denver faces the New York Jets at 7:30 a.m. MT on Sunday at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on NFL Network.
