ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Broncos' tight end group looked light during Wednesday's training camp practice, as both Noah Fant and Nick Vannett were held out of the session.

Fant was sick on Wednesday, while Vannett is in the concussion protocol, according to Head Coach Vic Fangio.

"He'll be out for the next few days because of that," Fangio said of Vannett.

Fangio specified that Fant's sickness was not COVID-19 related.

Cornerback Davontae Harris also did not practice, as he has a knee contusion. He worked on a side field with trainers for a portion of practice.

Outside linebacker Bradley Chubb received a rest day as the Broncos participated in their fourth consecutive day of practice.

"Bradley was ready to go today," Fangio said. "He could've practiced. I just decided to give him the day off there."

Chubb is in the midst of a return from a partially torn ACL that he suffered last October.

The Broncos did see a player return to full-speed activities, as wide receiver Juwann Winfree participated in team-period drills. He missed Sunday and Monday's practices, and participated in individual drills on Tuesday.

Tight end Austin Fort remains sidelined with a knee injury.
