Broncos waive Nick Stevens, Christian Kuntz

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Broncos waived quarterback Nick Stevens and long snapper Christian Kuntz, the team announced Thursday.

Stevens, who played at Colorado State, signed with the Broncos on May 17 and competed in OTAs and minicamp.

The Broncos will head to training camp with Case Keenum, Paxton Lynch and Chad Kelly on the roster at quarterback.

Kuntz signed in late March, but the Broncos appear set to move forward with long snapper Casey Kreiter.

Kreiter played in all 16 games in 2017 after suffering an injury that sidelined him for a portion of the 2016 season.

Following the pair of moves on Thursday and a preceding move to waive/injured outside linebacker Deiontrez Mount, the Broncos hold three open roster spots.
