ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Broncos have retained an offensive contributor.
Denver re-signed tight end Nate Adkins to a one-year contract, the team announced Tuesday.
Adkins has played 36 career games for the Broncos and started 17 contests, catching 24 passes for 185 yards and four touchdowns.
A key component in the run game, Adkins has played at least 30 percent of the Broncos' offensive snaps in games in which he's appeared over the past two seasons. Adkins also serves as a special teams contributor, playing a career high 59 percent of Denver's special teams snaps in 2024.
The 6-foot-3, 252-pound player joined the Broncos as a college free agent following the 2023 NFL Draft.
Denver also re-signed tight end Adam Trautman ahead of the official start of the new league year. The Broncos have also re-signed offensive lineman Alex Palczewski and inside linebacker Alex Singleton.
