ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- After about a six-week break, the Broncos are back and raring to go.

Players reported to the team's Dove Valley facility today in advance of the first practices of training camp on Thursday.

"All breaks are good," Head Coach John Fox said. "Everybody came back in great shape ready to go."

While suspensions to front office employees posed a possible distraction, Fox is just focusing on his job leading the players.

"I think the front office situation is obviously not a good thing for the organization, but again an old coach a long time ago told me to stay in your lane," Fox said. "My job is dealing with the football team and that's what we're ready to be focused on and embark on. I have great confidence in (Owner & CEO) Pat Bowlen and (President) Joe Ellis and (Executive Vice President of Football Operations) John Elway to handle anything in that area, and that is their area. All my focus is on our area and that is to make sure that our coaches and players are ready for this season."

Installed as one of the preseason favorites to make a deep postseason run, there are high expectations from everywhere as the Broncos get set to start training camp.

With plenty of football to be played, Fox doesn't pay much attention to what people are predicting for his club.

"Having done this for a long time, there is always a lot of noise," he said. "Sometimes it's good, sometimes it's bad. You better be able to focus through the noise and that's not going to change whether it's this week or next week. What you do is prepare your players to be able to stay focused through those situations whether it's training camp, preseason, regular season, playoff season, I think it's an important part of being a good, championship football team. I've been to a lot of horse races where I've seen a lot of favorites not win, so you have to take care of things between those lines and everybody in that building understands that."
