Von Miller among Broncos' inactives for #WASvsDEN

DENVER — Von Miller will miss the Broncos' Week 8 game against the Washington Football Team as he continues to recover from an ankle injury.

Miller, who suffered the injury late in the first half during Denver's previous game against Cleveland, missed the entire week of practice. He was listed as questionable on Friday for the game. Jonathon Cooper made an impressive showing in Miller's absence against the Browns with three quarterback hits.

Wide receiver and return specialist Diontae Spencer was also among the team's list of inactive players. He did not appear on the team's injury report during the week. The team's unofficial depth chart lists Kendall Hinton as Spencer's backup at both return spots.
