Ja'Wuan James ruled out of #DENvsIND; Heuerman, Risner also injured

INDIANAPOLIS Linebacker Todd Davis (knee) is probable to return to Sunday's game against the Colts, the team announced.

Davis suffered the injury while tackling Colts quarterback Jacoby Brissett in the first quarter.

Davis walked off the field before being attended to by trainers on the Broncos' sideline.

UPDATE [1:46 p.m. EST]: Davis has returned to play.

UPDATE [1:51 p.m. EST]: Right tackle Ja'Wuan James (knee) has been ruled out, the team announced.

James suffered the injury in the second quarter. He was attended to by trainers on the field before walking off under his own power.

Sunday was James' first game back since suffering a knee injury in Week 1.

UPDATE [2:10 p.m. EST]: Tight end Jeff Heuerman (knee) is questionable to return, the team announced.

Heuerman suffered the injury in the second quarter when a Colts defender rolled into his leg while Heuerman blocked on a Joe Flacco scramble for a first down. He was helped off the field by trainers.

UPDATE [3:30 p.m. EST]: Offensive lineman Dalton Risner (ankle) is probable to return, the team announced.

Risner suffered the injury in the third quarter and was attended to by trainers on the sideline. After getting his ankle taped up, Risner returned to the game on the ensuing Broncos possession.
