ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Tight end Noah Fant has been activated from the Reserve/COVID-19 list, the team announced.

Fant is eligible to practice on Wednesday.

The Broncos received a roster exemption for Fant, which means he will not immediately count against the 53-man roster.

Fant was placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Nov. 2 and missed Sunday's game against the Cowboys.

Head Coach Vic Fangio said Nov. 4 that Fant was vaccinated. Under the NFL's COVID policies, vaccinated players must only be placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list if they test positive for the virus. Fangio said Fant felt fine and had minor symptoms.

Guard Netane Muti, who was activated on Tuesday with an exemption, also does not currently count against the roster.

Following Fant's activation, the Broncos currently have three players remaining on the Reserve/COVID-19 list: QB Drew Lock, LB Justin Strnad and CB Michael Ojemudia.
