ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Tight end Nate Adkins appears poised to make his return to game action, as he practiced as a full participant on Friday and was not assigned a game status.
The absence of a game status indicates Adkins (knee) will be available to play for the first time since suffering an injury in Week 8 against the Cowboys.
Defensive tackle D.J. Jones (ankle) was also not assigned a game status after being a full participant in each practice this week. He is set to return after missing Denver's Week 14 win over the Raiders.
Guard Ben Powers (biceps) remained limited after being designated for return from injured reserve earlier this week, and he was ruled out for the game.
"He's getting there," Head Coach Sean Payton said Friday of Powers.
Wide receiver Pat Bryant was also ruled out, as he did not practice for the third consecutive day with a hamstring injury.
"If this was a playoff game … he'd be able to go," Payton said. "And yet, in order to get him back to full strength, we feel like we've done the right thing this week."
Tackle Mike McGlinchey, meanwhile, was listed as questionable as he did not practice and was added to the report with a shoulder injury on Friday.
The Broncos will face the Green Bay Packers on Sunday at 2:25 p.m. MT on CBS.
