"It's really critical," Penner said Friday ahead of the Broncos' Week 6 game in London. "We've been overwhelmed by the support and interest and excitement that we've gotten since the preferred site announcement."

"We're a completely different team," Penner said. "... Since that time, I think bringing in [Head Coach] Sean [Payton], and having him really build a strong culture of high expectations, winning, competitiveness. We're on a different trajectory."

"I always watched Von growing up," Bonitto said Thursday at Tottenham Hotspur Training Ground. "Just seeing where he was at, to kind of be like, 'Dang, one day maybe I can be in those shoes,' it'd be pretty cool."

Roach was designated for return from IR on Wednesday but would still need to be activated to the 53-man roster to play on Sunday.

"It was a good sixth months," Payton said of his experience. "It was nice."

"You can't live on this game, and be like 'Wow, we beat the Eagles' and carry that into the week," outside linebacker Jonathon Cooper said.

A 2024 inductee into the Broncos Ring of Fame, Foley is the Broncos' all-time interception leader with 44 career interceptions.

Running back Tyler Badie (shoulder) and defensive tackles D.J. Jones (shoulder) and Malcolm Roach (calf) were listed as limited participants.

The award is the first Defensive Player of the Week selection of Bonitto's career.

Roach returned to practice and participated in the media-viewing portion of Wednesday's session ahead of a Week 6 game against the Jets.
