LANDOVER, MD — Broncos safety Shamarko Thomas departed Friday night's game against the Redskins with an eye injury and was taken to a nearby hospital for further evaluation and treatment. The sixth-year pro will not return to the game.

Thomas contributed a special teams tackle before leaving the contest.

Starting inside linebacker Brandon Marshall left early in the second quarter and was evaluated for a concussion. He was cleared and returned to the game shortly thereafter.
