ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Broncos linebacker Dre Greenlaw will not play against the Colts, but he took a step forward in Friday's practice.
Greenlaw was a limited participant in the session, which marked the first time since the start of the regular season that he has practiced.
Greenlaw (quad) was ruled out for Week 2, however, alongside tight end Nate Adkins (ankle).
Adkins was limited for the second consecutive practice after returning to the field on Thursday.
Tight end Evan Engram (calf), defensive lineman John Franklin-Myers (knee) and inside linebacker Alex Singleton (thumb) remained full participants and were not assigned game statuses. The lack of a game status indicates a player will be available to play.
The Broncos face the Colts on Sunday at Lucas Oil Stadium at 2:05 p.m. MT on CBS.
