ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Broncos' preseason home matchup against the Cardinals is designed to highlight the next generation of Broncos Country.

The Denver Broncos will host Next-Gen Night during Saturday's game against the Cardinals at Empower Field at Mile High and will have a focus on youth participation throughout the game-day experience.

Several elements of the game presentation will be led by kids and teens. DJ Mello, a student at the Denver DJ School since age 8 and now entering 10th grade, will serve as the junior DJ. A junior host and junior PA Announcer, both patients from Children's Hospital Colorado, will assist with announcing the game-day rundown and introducing the Broncos lineups. The national anthem will be performed by 14-year-old Sydney D'Angelo.

Mini Miles will be present throughout the game, and the team will also host "Mini Thunder," a miniature therapy horse who will be available for photo opportunities on Mane Street.

Mane Street will feature additional youth-focused elements prior to kickoff. Activities include music by DJ Slickback, face painting, yard games, photo opportunities with Miles and friends and performances from Stampede and the cheer team.

At halftime, the annual mascot vs. youth flag football game will take place. This year's youth team is the 12U NFL Flag Broncos from Golden.

Next-Gen Night is part of the Broncos' broader community engagement efforts aimed at encouraging youth involvement in the sport and creating opportunities for younger fans to experience NFL game day in new ways.
