ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Broncos will face a division rival in a prime-time Christmas showdown.
Denver will travel to play the Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday, Dec. 25 at 6:15 p.m. MT on Prime Video, the NFL announced Monday.
The "Thursday Night Football" matchup will represent the fifth time the Broncos have played on Christmas Day in their history, with all five games coming on the road. Denver is 2-2 in Christmas Day matchups.
The Broncos' lone Christmas matchup against the Chiefs came in 2016 in Kansas City.
Denver has won two of its last three games against the Chiefs, including a 38-0 playoff-clinching win at Empower Field at Mile High in Week 18. The Broncos' last trip to GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium came down to the final snap, as Denver nearly knocked off the undefeated Chiefs.
The Broncos' matchup was revealed as part of a series of announcements ahead of the complete schedule release. The league has already announced the NFL Kickoff Game and a late-season doubleheader and plans to announce additional games over the coming days.
Denver's complete 2025 schedule will be announced on Wednesday, May 14 at 6 p.m. MT.
