ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Denver has added a former offensive contributor back to its roster.
The Broncos signed wide receiver Lil'Jordan Humphrey off the Giants' practice squad, the team announced Thursday.
Denver also signed wide receiver Michael Bandy to its practice squad.
"I think just as we're into this run, having depth," Head Coach Sean Payton said of signing Humphrey. "We know the player really well. One of his strengths is his football IQ. He can play a lot of different spots, and I think it was we had that roster availability. So, we'll see how that plays out. Mike Bandy has done a great job. We wanted to make sure that, during this stretch, we had the depth at that position. But you know exactly what you're getting from him, and that's a real good trait to have as a player. Then you can put him in these places where he can excel. It was unusual seeing him on the opponent's sideline a few weeks back, but we're glad to have him back."
Humphrey played 34 games from 2023-24 with the Broncos, playing more than 40 percent of the team's offensive snaps in that time frame. The veteran receiver caught 44 passes for 455 yards and four touchdowns while in Denver.
Bandy, who has spent most of the season on the Broncos' practice squad, returned punts in Denver's last two games.
