Broncos sign 13 college free agents

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Broncos have officially added more than a dozen college free agents to their roster.

The Broncos announced on Friday they signed the following college free agents: Purdue safety Cam Allen, Memphis outside linebacker Jaylon Allen, Fresno State inside linebacker Levelle Bailey, Nebraska safety Omar Brown, Texas A&M punter Nik Constantinou, Wyoming tackle Frank Crum, Georgia Tech tight end Dylan Leonard, UTSA defensive tackle Brandon Matterson, SMU nose tackle Jordan Miller, Air Force inside linebacker Alec Mock, Washington State wide receiver Lincoln Victor, Memphis running back Blake Watson and Utah tight end Thomas Yassmin.

The Broncos designated Yassmin as their international player exemption, and he will not count against the team's 90-man roster.

Cam Allen appeared in all 45 of Purdue's games from 2020-23 and started 31 contests in college. He ranks second in Purdue history with 13 career interceptions and was honored with varying levels of All-Big Ten recognition in three seasons.

Jaylon Allen earned second-team all-AAC honors in 2023 and honorable mention All-AAC honors in 2022 as he started 33 games in his career. In his final season at Memphis, Allen recorded 40 tackles, seven tackles for loss, two sacks, a forced fumble and three quarterback hits.

Bailey was named a second-team All-Mountain West selection in 2023 as he started all 13 games and tallied 82 tackles, five tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, three interceptions and five passes defensed. He recorded the game-winning play for Fresno State in three games last season.

An All-Missouri Valley Football Conference player while at Northern Iowa from 2019-21, Brown transferred to Nebraska and earned honorable mention All-Big Ten honors in 2023. He posted 51 tackles, three tackles for loss, two forced fumbles four passes defensed and an interception in his final collegiate season.

A native of Melbourne, Australia, Constantinou averaged 46 yards per punt in 2023. He earned first-team All-SEC honors in 2021 and second-team honors in 2022.

Rated as a sixth-round prospect by The Athletic's Dane Brugler, Crum made 36 starts at right tackle from 2019-22 before he started all 13 games at left tackle in 2023. Crum earned first-team All-Mountain West honors in his final season at Wyoming.

Leonard started 32 games in five seasons with the Yellow Jackets and caught 41 passes for 387 yards and a touchdown. He primarily served as a blocking tight end and was named a semifinalist in 2023 for the Jason Witten Collegiate Man of the Year Award.

A third-team All-American Athletic Conference performer in 2023, Matterson recorded 14 tackles, six tackles for loss, five sacks, five quarterback hurries and a forced fumble in his final season. He recorded 101 tackles, 15.5 tackles for loss, 7.5 sacks, three forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and a pass defensed in his career.

After playing in 48 games for Miami from 2018-22, Miller transferred to SMU, where he started 14 games in 2023. He recorded 26 tackles and four TFLs and was selected to the East-West Shrine Bowl after the season.

Mock finished his career at Air Force with 93 tackles, five tackles for loss, two sacks, an interception, two forced fumbles and a touchdown in 2023. He appeared in at least 11 games for the Falcons in each of his last three seasons.

Victor earned All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention recognition as he started 10 games and recorded 89 catches for 860 yards and five touchdowns in 2023. Victor's 8.1 catches per game ranked first in the Pac-12 last season.

Watson started 11 games at Memphis in 2023 and ran for 1,152 yards and 14 touchdowns as he averaged six yards per carry. He previously played four seasons at Old Dominion, where he totaled more than 2,000 rushing yards over his final two seasons for the Monarchs.

Yassmin was raised in Sydney, Australia and received a scholarship offer to Utah after being noticed at a rugby camp. He served primarily as a special teams player before catching 13 passes for 301 yards and six touchdowns in 2022.
