ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — With their final pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, the Broncos selected Mississippi State defensive end Marquiss Spencer with the 253rd-overall pick.
"My emotions have gone up and down and left and right, but I kept my faith and trusted the process," Spencer said of the process.
Spencer, a two-year starter, posted 106 total tackles, 22.5 tackles for loss, seven sacks, three forced fumbles and four passes defensed in 51 career games. He recorded 14.5 tackles for loss and five sacks over 22 starts in his final two seasons.
Spencer will join a defensive line room that includes Shelby Harris, Mike Purcell, Dre'Mont Jones, DeShawn Williams, McTelvin Agim and several other players.
