ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Broncos have kept a dynamic runner in the Mile High City.

Denver re-signed running back J.K. Dobbins to a two-year contract, the team announced Tuesday.

The veteran running back rushed for 772 yards and four touchdowns in just 10 games in his first season in Denver. Dobbins' 77.2 rushing yards per game ranked sixth in the NFL among all players, and he ranked fourth in the NFL in rushing through Week 10.

Dobbins became the first Broncos rusher since Mike Anderson in 2005 to reach the 750-yard mark within the first 10 games of a season. He also became the first Broncos player since 2022 to rush for 100 yards in a game — and to post multiple 100-yard rushing games in the same season.

The former second-round pick joined the Broncos after a season in Los Angeles in which he rushed for 905 yards and nine touchdowns. A 2020 Ravens draft pick, Dobbins spent the first four years of his career with the Ravens.

Dobbins has averaged 5.2 yards per carry in his career, and he posted 5.0 yards per attempt during his first season in Denver.

The Broncos previously announced they re-signed inside linebackers Alex Singleton and Justin Strnad, tight ends Adam Trautman and Nate Adkins and offensive lineman Alex Palczewski.
