ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Broncos have added a pair of players to their game-day roster.
Denver elevated tight end Marcedes Lewis and wide receiver Michael Bandy from the practice squad to the active roster, the team announced Saturday.
Lewis, whom the Broncos signed on Wednesday, would become the oldest player to appear in a game in franchise history if he plays against the Texans on Sunday.
The 41-year-old player has appeared in 285 games in his career, and Head Coach Sean Payton called him a "tremendous" blocker earlier this week. Denver previously ruled out tight end Nate Adkins for Sunday's game.
Bandy last appeared in a game for the Broncos in 2023, but he has spent the past two seasons on Denver's practice squad. He has appeared in 12 career games, recording 10 catches for 89 yards. The Broncos ruled out wide receiver Marvin Mims Jr. for Week 9 after he did not practice with a concussion.
The Broncos are set to face the Texans at 11 a.m. MT on Sunday on FOX.
