ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — As Denver has posted its best start to a season in more than a decade, a slew of Broncos have earned a prestigious league-wide honor.
Six Broncos have been named to the 2026 Pro Bowl Games, marking the most Broncos to be selected to the initial Pro Bowl roster since the 2014 season. The Broncos also had six Pro Bowlers following the 2016 season, but three of the players were selected as alternates.
Defensive lineman Zach Allen, tackle Garett Bolles, outside linebacker Nik Bonitto, guard Quinn Meinerz, cornerback Pat Surtain II and wide receiver Courtland Sutton were selected as part of a voting process that featured input from players, coaches and fans. Bolles, Bonitto, Meinerz and Surtain were named starters for the 2026 Pro Bowl Games, which will be held ahead of Super Bowl LX in the Bay Area.
Denver's three first-time Pro Bowlers are also the most for the franchise since 2014.
Allen, a 2024 second-team All-Pro, is a Pro Bowler for the first time in his career. He's recorded 6.5 sacks and 43 quarterback hits in 2025, joining J.J. Watt as the only player since at least 2006 with back-to-back seasons with at least 40 quarterback hits. Allen is the first interior defensive lineman since Trevor Pryce in 2002 to earn a Pro Bowl bid for Denver.
A former second-team All-Pro, Bolles has earned the first Pro Bowl nod of his career as he's started all 15 games this season. Bolles has not allowed a sack this season and has the best pass-block rating among NFL tackles, according to Pro Football Focus. The veteran offensive lineman is the first Broncos offensive tackle since Ryan Clady in 2014 to earn a Pro Bowl nod.
Bonitto, who has posted back-to-back double-digit sack seasons, is a Pro Bowler for the second consecutive year. The 2024 second-team All-Pro has recorded 12.5 sacks this season and ranks fifth in the NFL in sacks. Bonitto is also a Pro Bowl starter for the second consecutive year and the first Broncos outside linebacker with back-to-back selections since Von Miller.
A 2024 first-team All-Pro, Meinerz has also earned a Pro Bowl nod for the first time. He's allowed the second-lowest quarterback pressure rate among AFC guards, according to NextGen Stats. Meinerz is the first Broncos guard to be selected to the Pro Bowl since Louis Vasquez in 2013.
Surtain is a Pro Bowl starter for the fourth consecutive year and has earned a Pro Bowl nod for the fourth time in his first five seasons. He joins Steve Atwater and Von Miller as the only players in franchise history to earn four Pro Bowl nods in their first five seasons since the 1970 AFL-NFL merger. Surtain is also the third cornerback in franchise history to earn four consecutive Pro Bowl nods, joining Champ Bailey and Aqib Talib.
Sutton is a Pro Bowler for the second time in his career, and his 2026 Pro Bowl Games selection marks his first inclusion on the initial roster. The veteran receiver is on the verge of a second-consecutive 1,000-yard season and is 12 catches away from tying his career high in receptions. Sutton is the fifth receiver in franchise history with multiple Pro Bowl selections at the position.
As a team, the Broncos received the second most fan votes of any organization, and 15 Broncos players finished in the top 10 of fan voting.
The televised portion of the 2026 Pro Bowl Games will air on ESPN, Disney XD and ESPN Deportes on Tuesday, Feb. 3.
