Su'a Cravens among six Broncos ruled out for Friday's game vs. Washington

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Six Broncos players will miss Friday's game against Washington, Head Coach Vance Joseph announced Wednesday.

Tight end Troy Fumagalli (soreness), guard J.J. Dielman (knee), cornerback Marcus Rios (leg), offensive lineman Andreas Knappe (head), offensive lineman Sam Jones (back spasms) and safety Su'a Cravens (knee soreness) will all sit out the Broncos' dress rehearsal game.

Guard Ron Leary will be a game-time decision, but Joseph said he has not suffered a new injury.

"No, no," Joseph said. "Same knee. He's getting better, but we're being really smart for the long haul."

The rest of the starters should see their most action yet in the preseason.

"We're not going to count snaps," Joseph said. "We're going to count progress again. We'll see. Last week we played about a quarter and a half, hopefully we can play more."
