A Broncos legend has earned another significant honor.
Ring of Fame safety Steve Foley has been elected to the Colorado Sports Hall of Fame's Class of 2026, the organization announced Wednesday.
Foley and the rest of the upcoming class will be inducted on April 16, 2026.
A 2024 inductee into the Broncos Ring of Fame, Foley is the Broncos' all-time interception leader with 44 career interceptions. During his 11-year career (1976-86), he was a key member of the famed "Orange Crush" defense and helped the Broncos to a pair of Super Bowl appearances.
Foley played both cornerback and safety in his career, recording at least six interceptions in three different seasons. He ranked in the top 10 in the NFL in interceptions in multiple seasons and started 136 of the 150 games in which he appeared during his career.
Also an inductee in the Tulane Athletics Hall of Fame and Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame, Foley is the latest former Bronco to earn a spot in the Colorado Sports Hall of Fame. Ring of Famer Simon Fletcher was the most recent inductee, as he was enshrined earlier in 2025.
